Peak Awards In Scouting

A scout that receives one of these awards will always hold their head high.

The following awards are the highest honor that can be bestowed upon a Scout in their respective section. To be eligible to receive one of these awards the young men and women of the Scout Youth Sections will undertake many personal challenges covering Social, Physical, Intellectual, Emotional and Spiritual development of themselves and others around them.

Grey Wolf Award

The Australian Scout Medallion

The Grey Wolf Award is the highest recognition that the Cub Scout Section can bestow. This Award is usually earned during the last year in Cubs and is very much up to the initiative of the Cub to work through and get it done!

The Australian Scout Medallion

The Australian Scout Medallion is the highest recognition that the Scout Section can bestow. On the reverse side of the certificate that accompanies the medallion, is a personalised statement of competency detailing their achievements to earn the award.  The award is presented at Government House by the Queen's representative and Chief Scout of Victoria, the Governor of Victoria.





Queen Scout Award 

Queen Scout Award

The Queen Scout Award is the highest recognition that the Venturer Scout Section can bestow. The Queen Scout Recipient also receives a certificate signed by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.  The award is presented at Government House by the Queen's representative and Chief Scout of Victoria, the Governor of Victoria.





Baden-Powell Scout Award

Baden-Powell Award

The Baden-Powell Scout Award is the highest recognition that the Rover Scout Section can bestow.  The award is presented at Government House by the Queen's representative and Chief Scout of Victoria, the Governor of Victoria.






All awards are well recognised in the community and will become a very important part of each recipients curriculum vitae.
